How to Tone Blonde Extensions with Purple Shampoo

Step By Step Method:

STEP 1
Wet extensions.

STEP 2
Add a high quality sulfate free blonde shampoo to some warm water in a bowl and gently mix together.

STEP 3
Using one single piece to test on first, dunk your extension in the water and gently massage the purple water into the hair being careful not to over-tone. This should only take 20 seconds per piece. Always add the blonde shampoo to the water, do not rub the blonde shampoo straight into the hair, dilute it first as it could leave nasty irregular patches)

STEP 4
Rinse your extensions under water or in a bowl of clean water and condition with a good quality moisture conditioner.

STEP 5
If you are happy with the tone, continue this process throughout the rest of the set piece by piece.

STEP 6
Place your extensions neatly on a towel and pat dry to remove any excess water (do not ring them out).

STEP 7
Apply a high quality leave in treatment to your extensions

STEP 8
Allow your extensions to air dry or apply a heat protectant and blow dry on cool too medium heat.

IMPORTANT TIPS

• Always practise on one piece first
• Never bleach your extensions to avoid irreversible dryness
