Will hair extensions damage my hair?
You can be assured that Remy Hair Extensions have been scientifically proven not to cause damage to healthy hair when applied correctly and maintained properly. The key to a successful, damage free application lies in the details of the application. Each person has different hair conditions and desired results that must be considered. The skill level of the stylist is crucial for a damage-free application.
How long does application take?
This depends on the extension method that you are having done and the number of extensions applied. During the consultation, your stylist will be able to advise you on estimated application time.
What is Remy hair?
Remy means that every cuticle of the hair is intact and facing the same direction from which it grew. The main benefits are that the hair is easier to maintain, less likely to knot and blends well.
What do I need to do to look after my hair extensions?
Because all Remy Hair Extensions are made from 100% human hair, your care routine will be very similar. The only key differences are that you may wash your hair less frequently and it is best to always dry your hair after washing.
Always follow the guidelines set out by your stylist. Moisture shampoo and conditioner, a leave in treatment and a RHE brush would ensure the best care for your extensions.
What will my hair be like when the hair extensions are removed?
If you have maintained your extensions well, there will be no damage, and you may find that your natural hair has grown more quickly than usual.
Can I colour my hair extensions?
Yes, as our hair is 100% human hair with no silicon coatings applied, it can be coloured or toned. Your stylist will be able to advise you on what is possible and what results you can expect to achieve.
Can I wear my hair tied up?
The extensions are applied so that the hair falls naturally. Your hair extension technician will ask you how you wear your hair most frequently and adjust accordingly so that no extensions will be detected.
Are Hair Extensions A lot Of Maintenance?
No, with the correct products and care, your extensions will feel a part of you. The maintenance is fairly minimal and in our opinion definitely worth the beautiful flowing length and thickness of having Remy Hair Extensions!
